Children’s ministry is a vital and energetic part of the life and work of First United Church. When children are baptized, the congregation makes a promise: “to welcome all children who arrive to share in the life and faith of our church, being open to their wisdom and spiritual quests.” Children take part in our worship as participants in a time at the front of the church, hearing stories and asking questions. Children also participate by being readers during the service and then by going downstairs to continue their worship in Sunday School.
